I can't specifically remember the details of our January rides but I did put the location and miles on the calendar so here's the facts.
January 17th
Riders: MB and Bill
Miles: 75
Burke to Island Pond
January 18th
Riders: MB and Bill
Miles: 150
We rode from Burke and headed up to Canaan where we had lunch at the Northlander. We were relieved to see that the trailer was still there when we got back because we had to cut the lock off because we forgot the key at home. It was a relief to still have the trailer but some scumbag stole the tailgate off our truck. I couldn't believe that would happen in Vermont. We were in the parking lot right on Rt. 114. We think the guy who stole it was sitting at the edge of the parking lot when we left. He probably waited for us to leave and robbed us as soon as we were out of sight. We had a great day of riding but it wasn't so great to find out we were robbed.
January 19th - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Riders: MB and Bill
Miles: 70
We celebrated MLK day riding the trails from P&H in Wells River through Groton and Topsham. It was the first time we took the access trail from P&H. It was a nice ride.
January 31st
Riders: MB, Bill and Gregg
Miles: 162
Bill and I met Gregg at the Grill and rode from Groton, through Cabot, Burke, took a wrong turn in St. Jay and back through Danville.
