I'm sorry I neglected this space all summer. I planned on writing about our ATV riding but we haven't had any time on the trails. We spent all summer building an addition on the camp a/k/a snowmobiling headquarters. We planned on going on the annual ATV ride up Mt. Washington in early August but our units wouldn't start (long story) so we never made it.
We finally got on the trails last weekend on the day before the end of our vacation. The club was out taking the signs down for the season and we were on our first and last ride. We spent a couple of cold hours around Hart's Hill and Topsham area and didn't get nearly enough miles on the ATVs to make it worth the money we spent on registration and trail passes. I'm hoping we'll be able to get our money's worth next season.
We woke up to a couple of inches of snow one morning this past week and as much as I love the snow and want tons of it this winter I just want it to hold off until we get the roof on.
I'm looking forward to getting on my snowmobile soon. I can't wait to ride.
